Helpful hint: Start stocking up on these things early so this last minute expense doesn’t stress you and to make sure the items arrive in time.
1. Water
Everyone needs to hydrate, especially at a wedding. Including water in your welcome bag is a given. If you want to personalize your water bottles, check out these water bottle labels for your welcome bag.
2. Other Beverage Option
Not everyone is a big water drinker. Maybe include some mini alcohol bottles with mixer options such as this juice variety pack for your guests to enjoy a drink before the big day. It is a celebration after all.
You’ll also want to make sure everyone is energized for the big day. Pick up a pack of Celsius for your wedding welcome bags or give to your bridesmaids in their gift bags.
3. Snacks
Head to Cotsco or Sam’s Club and check out some bulk snack options or look no further and order this snack variety pack from Amazon to stock your welcome bags for your hotel guests.
4. Liquid IV
This is the no hangover holy grail. Our guests were begging us for more of these. Don’t disappoint your guests and get them. Our guests voted the lemon-lime flavor as the best option.
5. Pain Reliever
Open bar can be dangerous. Prepare your guests with some more hangover relief. Sadly the bulk mini Advil packets that I wanted did not come in time. Take a lesson from me, order these ahead of time.
6. Personalized Treats
We had to do the: his favorite and her favorite treats. Mine-chocolate covered almonds, his-gummy bears. It’s such a cute, personal touch and extra snack for your guests. We used bags, some people use boxes. Get your 3×5 in clear bags here.
7. Tissues
There will definitely be tears at the wedding. We included these happy tears tissues in our bags. You could also leave a basket by the entrance to the ceremony with these too.
8. Floss
There’s nothing worse than having something stuck in your tooth when you’re about to take a million pictures. Don’t let this happen to your guests. Stick some mini floss packs in their bags.
9. Mints
Who doesn’t want fresh breath for a special event? These little Mint To Be labels are SO cute and perfect for your wedding welcome bag or even as a wedding favor. I purchased from this Etsy shop and I would recommend getting the blank white labels that they offer to cover up the tic tac label so they are more aesthetically pleasing.
10. Stain Remover
There’s nothing worse than spilling something on the ONLY outfit choice you have when you’re traveling. Hopefully they don’t need it but I’m sure there’s that one person that will and you’ll be prepared with this SHOUT wipes.
11. Sunscreen
We got married in Florida, so some of our guests took this as an opportunity to hit the beach for the wedding day. Don’t let them show up burned to your wedding- get them sunscreen. You won’t let them live it down in your pictures. I think it’s also cute to add something related to the destination of your wedding to your welcome bag.
12. Make-up Remover
I feel like this is something people forget when traveling and all the ladies will likely need it. They’re easy to use and this bulk package is super affordable.
13. Welcome Letter
Don’t forget to include a cute little note in their bags welcoming them and thanking them for coming with this welcome letter. Include an itinerary of all the weekend events or include a list of your favorite things to do and places to eat in the area.
This Newlywed Times digital download can be used as a wedding program or for your welcome bag. We used this in our wedding welcome bags because it was too cute to pass up. Give your guests some reading material and all of the wedding details with this program.
